Buon giorno ragazze ,come ormai avete letto, sia qui che nella nostre pagine di facebook il libro "Enjoy your kitchen" realizzato da Veronica e me è in fase di stampa.
Finalmente, dopo mesi di lavoro,di progettazione ,disegni ,prototipi ,prove e riprove per gli abbinamenti dei tessuti,siamo giunte al momento tanto atteso della nascita della nostra creatura.
Un libro scritto e realizzato a 4 mani ,dove la distanza reale (io abito in friuli e Veronica in toscana) non ci ha limitate .Grazie ad internet abbiamo potuto lavorare come se fossimo nella stessa stanza,scambiandoci idee,consigli,postando foto per vedere ed eventualmente correggere i vari wip...buttando giù idee e testi.
Entrambe siamo soddisfatte del risultato... abbiamo dato il meglio di noi stesse.

Thanks to the Internet we have been able to work as if we were in the same room, exchanging ideas, tips, posting photos to see and correct various wip ... putting down ideas and texts.
Both are satisfied with the result ... we gave the best of ourselves.

Chi di voi non conosce la mitica signora Marion Cunningham del telefilm "Happy days"?
Mi sono sempre piaciuti i grembiuli che usava,sembravano quasi dei vestiti,tutti arricciati in vita.
Mi sono ispirata proprio a quelli,rivisitandoli in chiave piu' moderna,usando i lini,che volutamente ho stropicciato per dare quell'effetto vissuto e non delicato

I've always liked the aprons used, seemed almost of clothes
I was inspired just those, revisited in a modern key, using the linens, which I deliberately crumpled to give that effect lived and delicate
Anche se sembrerà assurdo questa foto è nata per puro caso
Giorgia la sera prima si era fatta i capelli ricci.
Il giorno dopo, quando l'ho vista,pettinata stile anni '50, mi si è accesa una lampadina..sono corsa in craft a prendere il grembiule e abbiamo fatto un po' di scatti ,che poi sono stati magicamente modificati da Veronica,per dare l'effetto che cercavo..
Come avrete notato la location è la mia cucina.
Volutamente abbiamo scelto le nostre case come set fotografico ,
ci piaceva dare l'idea della normalità e della semplicità dei luoghi ,
nulla di costruito e di artefatto.

As you can see the location is my kitchen.
We deliberately chose our homes as photographic set,
we liked to give the impression of normality and simplicity of the place,
nothing built and artifact.
Mi sono divertita a giocare con gli abbinamenti delle stoffe, per le applicazioni ho scelto le classiche tazzine sovrapposte che mi sono sempre piaciute.
I had fun playing with the combinations of fabrics,
for applications I chose the classic cups overlapping that I have always liked.
